Fishing Vessel Rescue

Today we went diving at Koh Rong Sanloem Island to teach the PADI Rescue Diver course and on the way out to the island we happened to have a real rescue scenario - a fishing boat sunk a few hours earlier and the fishermen were drifting with a buoyant icebox at the surface! The boat crew reacted fast (whilst the instructors and divemasters supervised and were busy taking photos with their smartphones) and brought the sailors up onto our dive boat. After drying to dry off and having a hot tea we brought all fishermen back to port sound and safe.
